My Priorities
A Representative for All
Every person in House District 32 deserves a voice, regardless of where they live, their background, or their political beliefs. I believe leadership starts with listening, showing up, and working together to find solutions.
As a Mayor Pro Tem and City Councilor, community organizer, and founder of Voices for Change, I have seen firsthand the challenges families face and the opportunities that exist when communities are given the resources they need to thrive.
I am running to bring practical, people-centered leadership to Santa Fe and ensure rural New Mexico is not forgotten.
Strengthening Rural Communities
Rural communities deserve more than promises, they deserve investment, resources, and leaders who show up.
I will work to ensure communities like ours have the infrastructure, services, and support needed to grow and succeed.
My priorities include:
Investing in roads, water systems, and critical infrastructure
Expanding access to reliable broadband and essential services
Supporting local governments with the resources they need
Making sure rural communities have a strong voice in state decisions
Healthcare and Behavioral Health for Every Community
Where you live should not determine the quality of care you receive.
Through my work in community advocacy, I have seen how families are impacted when healthcare and behavioral health resources are difficult to access. We must build a system that supports people before they reach a crisis.
My priorities include:
Expanding access to healthcare providers in rural communities
Strengthening behavioral health and addiction recovery services
Supporting programs that address mental health and community wellness
Investing in the workforce needed to serve rural New Mexicans
Creating Opportunities for Working Families
Families should not have to leave their communities to find opportunity.
I believe economic development means investing in the people, businesses, and industries that make southern New Mexico strong.
My priorities include:
Supporting small businesses and local entrepreneurs
Expanding workforce development and career opportunities
Supporting agriculture and rural industries
Creating pathways for young people to build successful futures close to home
Investing in Education and the Next Generation
Our children and young people are not just our future, they are our present.
Through Voices for Change, I have worked to empower young people to become leaders and active participants in their communities. Every student deserves the opportunity to succeed.
My priorities include:
Supporting educators, students, and public schools
Expanding career and technical education opportunities
Investing in youth leadership and civic engagement
Creating pathways to higher education and meaningful careers
Leadership That Listens and Represents Everyone
Public service is about serving the people who elected you and those who did not.
As a public servant, I believe a representative’s responsibility is to listen, build relationships, and bring people together to solve problems.
